To ensure the safety of staff and patrons, and to go beyond current regulations, Forty Deuce is installing 15 hospital grade MHZG-90 High-power Ultraviolet self-circulating disinfection Germicidal lamps in the kitchen and front of house of the Café as well as backstage and in the public areas of the Speakeasy to disinfect all areas of the venue while we are closed.
In addition, our staff’s temperature will be taken at the beginning of every shift and patrons will undergo a voluntary non-invasive temperature reading as well upon entering. Forty Deuce will also be redoing the floorplan to allow for 6 feet or more of space between every party, both indoors and out, upstairs and down. Plexiglas guards will separate the booths and guests will fill out disposable menu/drink order sheets with sanitized pencils. Food will be brought to the tables by runners wearing masks and gloves and in between every seating, tables and chairs will of course be re-sanitized.
“But don’t be bummed out by these necessary precautions,” adds Kane, “we’re just going to be safe AND have a great time. It’s just the way it is. You can’t keep us down, baby!”
